DISTRIWEL 440® New Generation Petri Dish Filler

The DISTRIWEL 440® (Alliance Bio Expertise) is an automated Petri dish filler with a capacity of 440 Petri dishes. It is compatible with both 55 mm and 90 mm dishes and features a built-in Peltier cooling effect to reduce condensation and solidification time. The unit is equipped with a UV lamp for aerobiocontamination prevention and a plexiglas cover for a secure process. It utilizes an intuitive 7" tactile glove-friendly touchscreen for accessing 150 available programs. Distribution accuracy is maintained at +/- 1ml, and the system can be configured with an optional ink-jet printer for printing on the side or bottom of the dishes.

Instructions for use

The DISTRIWEL 440® is intended for the automated high-throughput filling of Petri dishes.

Preparation: Ensure the unit is level using the integrated bubble level. Load the carousel with up to 440 empty Petri dishes (55 mm or 90 mm depending on the version).

Operation: Use the 7" tactile glove-friendly screen to select from 150 standardized programs. Set the distribution volume (1-99 ml) and speed (30 to 300 RPM). The built-in Peltier effect will automatically manage cooling during the cycle.

Safety & Maintenance: The UV lamp should be utilized to prevent contamination during the pouring process. After use, the smooth surfaces and ergonomic design allow for easy cleaning. Monitoring is facilitated by a multicolored visual alarm.
