The EBI 20-T1 is a high-precision, waterproof temperature data logger designed for the continuous monitoring and documentation of temperature-sensitive environments. Part of the ebro® EBI 20 series, this compact device is an essential tool for ensuring quality control in the food, pharmaceutical, and medical industries, particularly for cold chain management and warehouse monitoring.
The EBI 20-T1 features an internal NTC sensor that provides accurate temperature readings across a wide range. Its autonomous design allows for long-term data collection without a constant network connection, storing up to 40,000 measurements. The device is housed in a robust, IP67-rated waterproof casing, making it suitable for harsh environments and temporary immersion. A large, easy-to-read LCD display provides real-time updates on current temperatures, battery status, and alarm conditions. The logger is fully compliant with DIN EN 12830 and HACCP guidelines, providing the reliable documentation required for regulatory audits and quality assurance protocols.
Advantages
- High Memory Capacity: Capable of recording up to 40,000 data points, allowing for extensive logging periods between data retrievals.
- Robust and Waterproof: The IP67 protection class ensures the device remains functional even in wet or dusty conditions typical of food transport and storage.
- User-Friendly Interface: The clear LCD display allows for immediate on-site verification of temperatures and alarm triggers without a PC.
- Extended Battery Life: Powered by a user-replaceable CR2450 lithium battery with a typical lifetime of up to 24 months.
- Visual Alarm System: High and low temperature limits can be programmed, with an integrated LED providing an immediate visual warning if thresholds are breached.
Instructions for use
To begin monitoring, the logger must first be configured using the Winlog.basic software and an EBI 20-IF interface (sold separately). Preparation: Connect the logger to the interface and set the desired sampling rate (from 1 minute to 24 hours) and alarm limits. Note: Once programmed, the logger can be started immediately, after a delay, or by pressing the Start button on the device. Place the logger in the area to be monitored using the optional wall bracket or integrated eyelet. To retrieve data, reconnect the device to the interface and export the recorded values via the software for analysis and archiving.
